The increasing number of vehicles on Britain's roads means an increase in road traffic accidents. Whether driving for business or pleasure NCCC aims to train drivers in the car control techniques that can significantly reduce their risk of being involved in an accident. The increasing number of vehicles on Britain's roads means an increase in road traffic accidents. "In 2005 over 64,000 accidents resulting in personal injury involved a skid."
Would you know how to react if you lost control of your car?
Most drivers tend to freeze or react incorrectly in any loss of control scenario. The reason for this is that drivers are under extreme pressure in an unfamiliar and potentially dangerous situation. NCCCs Skid Control Course can, in a matter of hours, teach drivers to react correctly and reduce the risk.
This service is now available either as a course to people already driving and wanting to improve their car awareness, or is now being offered as part of Pass Plus if you are interested, At AJM we have teamed up with nccc to help people servive on the roads even in the worst conditions - Please ring for more details or click on link below. http://www.nccc.uk.com |

Learning to Drive ( correction to miss understood news reports)
Media and New Reports seem to be mis leading people into thinking the age of leraning to drive as changed. This up date is to let you know that even though little changes have been made to driving tests there is no change to age or the way that lessons are to be taken. September 10th 2008 will see the start of Eco Testing, this will mean that all test candidates from learners to advance driving will have to demonstrate that they can use all controls smoothly with good use of gas pedal so not to over rev and accurate gear changes so not to waste fuel. They will also have to demonstrate good anticipation and hazard perception skills so not to brake to heavy and to use engine braking has an alternative so to prevent wear on all vehicle parts. These changes are in addition to already extended maintenance questions, but even though being introduced on 10th September will not be marked as a pass or fail till April 2009.
Learner Drivers Must be aged 17 plus and old a provisional licence, also be able to read a number plate at 20.5 metres. To take a driving test must have completed and passed both parts off the theory test There is no law stating that you must be aged 18 being introduced and there will be no minimul hours of training to be taken before testing. Just listen to your instructor and take there advise and if in doubt contact the DSA, deatails available at http://www.dsa.gov.uk or if you have any further qustions contact us on numbers provided.
Did you Know That some Driving Schools hold insurance that cover people of ages from 14 and that we can also teach people to drive without driving licences. Why not look at our New Driver Introductory Scheme above for details. www.passat17.co.uk ----------------------------------------------
